About us
Gideon's deep love and passion for working with dogs began at a young age, growing up in a household where dogs were not just pets, but family members. He was raised to care for the family's dogs with the same dedication and attention as he would his own well-being. This early exposure laid the foundation for his lifelong passion—helping dog owners and families live their best lives through a deep connection with their canine companions.
With many years of combined military and security experience, Gideon has a diverse background. He served as a combat infantryman in the Israeli military, participating in reconnaissance and special forces units. His skills and discipline were further honed in executive protection roles, working in both Germany and the United States.
Beyond his work in the security field, Gideon’s commitment to expanding his knowledge of dog training remains a priority. He has successfully trained his black lab, Mika, to be a service dog, and later trained her in advanced obedience and explosive detection. His passion for behavior modification, especially with fearful and aggressive dogs, has become his niche. Known for his empathetic approach, Gideon believes deeply in understanding both dog and human psychology. His training philosophy centers on guidance over corrections, emphasizing positive relationships to achieve lasting change.
Gideon continually enhances his dog training skills, staying on the cutting edge of the latest techniques and insights to offer the best for his clients and their dogs.

"Ortal and Gideon have boarded my Morkie Nola on multiple occasions since she was a puppy. I know she’s in good hands and never have to worry whenever I have to travel. It’s a Bonus that Gideon’s a trainer and has helped improve her leash pulling. Highly recommend GO K9 to watch over your fur baby!"

True dog-loving people, Gideon and Ortal are amazing! Fate brought Odin and I to them and it has changed our lives. We've had nothing but overwhelmingly positive experiences with them and they're the number one on my list if I ever need training, or boarding for Odin. Gideon is an extremely knowledgeable K9 trainer and, in my experience, the training sessions we've had with him were at least 3x more efficient. Odin is a red nose APBT that is trained to perform certain services and is currently undergoing scent training. Gideon has a profound understanding of the training needs of working breeds and was key in shaping Odin's temperament and behavior in an amazing way!

Can't thank Gideon enough for helping me get my happy and confident pup back. He's a 5 year old American Bully who was anxious and reactive after being stolen and getting him back. Even though being apart from him for 2 weeks was hard, seeing how much he has improved makes it all worth it.

"My dog Bubba has a lot of energy and I feel good leaving him with Ortal and Gideon knowing that he will get a lot of exercise. They sent me videos of him running around their backyard and having walks by the lake. He’s also very affectionate and it made me smile getting photos of him cuddling on the coach with Ortal. I used to feel guilty going out of town without him, but now it’s comforting that I have a place where he can stay and be loved while I’m away. Thank you guys so much!"

I don't even know where to start! Training with Gideon has been the best experience for my dog. We didn't think he had a chance because he was so reactive, but now he's as cool as a cucumber. Gideon is incredibly patient and makes you feel comfortable while learning. I trust him 100% with my dog and have no issues leaving my dog with him. In fact, I prefer my dog to stay with Gideon over anyone else, including friends and family. I know my dog is safe, respected, and might even get a training lesson while he's there. :)

I cannot say enough about Gideon! My husband and I are so grateful we found him he has worked wonders with our rescue! His time, patience, and dedication is unmatched!! He has taught our rescue (& us!!) so many useful tools. We are thrilled to be able to continue working with him!

There is no one I trust more with my rescue dog than Gideon. When I first started working with Gideon, my dog TJ was just a puppy, trying to test his boundaries. He was very hyper, would pull on his leash, and displayed food guarding behaviors. And after being attacked by two bigger dogs, showing reactivity towards most big dogs. Within just one session, TJ stopped leash pulling and within a few more, he was building his confidence, being able to stay in place when I walked away, going out of his comfort zone to try new tricks, and showing less reactivity towards big dogs (I think Mika helped here too :)). TJ was becoming a much more confident, relaxed dog (without ever losing his puppy energy). With more and continuous work, he eventually stopped being reactive. Before my son was born, I was a little nervous about how TJ would react. He loves kids, but doesn't know his own strength sometimes. Gideon gave us tips how to introduce TJ to his new baby brother, and it was love at first sight. From the day we brought our son home from the hospital, TJ was the gentlest and most loving big brother. And I know Gideon had a lot to do with it! Needless to say, TJ has already stayed with Gideon and Ortal on multiple occasions. They took such great care of him. He considers Gideon, Ortal, Mika and Harry as his second family (I even joke that Mika is his big sister). I couldn't recommend Gideon and Ortal enough!
